As a character on the Guiding Light soap opera, Dollar was Marina Cooper. This role was a winner of an award from Soap Opera Digest in 2003 for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar was Cindy Thomas in the ABC show Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. Dollar was a guest on The 2012 NBC Happy Valley pilot which was not selected for the series.
