Annette Funicello (born Annette Funicello) was an American musician, actress and performer. Most famously, she was one of the Mickey Mouse Club's "Mouseketeers". Her singing career started as an young adolescent. Annette was born in Utica to Italian parents. In her early years, she had a lot of shyness. Once she made the decision to begin a professional career in the business her first step was to start doing dance and performed. She gained fame in the 1950s as she was a part of the "Mouseketeers". Annette changed her Disney image when her age increased and she began to take the stage in adult characters. The most well-known is an actor who pioneered the "beach-party" style of film. The films she appeared in included 'How to Stuff a Wild Bikini.' Pajama Party. The Beach Party,and Beach Party. Annette recorded music from time-to-time.
