Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. She is similar to The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. She started reviewing late in 2009, gaining some recognition on the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus Lupa. In 2010, she joined Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome Family. The channel was online up until the end of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts: one focused on the Charmed Franchise and another co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to join the reviewer community.
